Bafana Bafana will assemble for camp next month, in preparation for the upcoming 2019 AFCON qualifiers.

The national team will gather in Johannesburg on 2 September 2018 and depart for Durban on 3 September 2018, where the rest of the camp will focus on the Group E clash against Libya.

The encounter will be held at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday 8 September with the game scheduled to kick off at 15h00.

Stuart Baxter and his charges will then play Seychelles in the respective home and away legs, one month later, on the 13th and 16th of October 2018.

Bafana will look to improve on what has been a disappointing spell on the international stage, having succumbed to Cape Verde and missed out on a spot in the 2018 FIFA World Cup recently played in Russia.

Bafana last played in the AFCON tournament in 2015 and 2013 after qualifying as a host country when original hosts, Libya, were unable to accommodate the tournament due to civil unrest.

Meanwhile, SAFA President Dr Danny Jordaan is currently in Cameroon where the 2019 edition will be played to assess the West African Nation’s readiness to host the spectacle.
